Personal integrity is the moral foundation of our human personality. From the still point of integrity we behave openly, honestly, compassionately and with great discernment; we easily do the right thing and we self-correct our mistakes.

The Merriam-Webster definition of Integrity is telling in terms of its importance in managing our human condition. Integrity is defined as firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values, of incorruptibility. Further defined as an unimpaired condition of soundness and the state of being complete or undivided; integrity is embryonic to human optimization and wellness. When steeped in integrity, absorbed by it, we are more effective humans; we are keenly perceptive. Integrity enfolds all the key attributes and behaviors that make us valuable to society. Integral women and men habitually express ethical behavior; they are compassionate, selfless, serving, and above all else, honest.
The internal ease of personal integrity is calming; the energetic reach of integrity is vast. Morally sound, integrity allows us to honestly express our personalities without pretense; integral people neither have nor create social anxiety. The spread of integrity is positive and productive; integral humans do great, focused, collaborative work in every environment and influence the same from others.
Integrity keeps us clean from the push and pull of the external. Society is noisy and unduly influential if not seen in the correct light. Established in behavioral integrity, we can filter out the negative social rhythms of intolerance, selfish materialism, and extreme fanaticism being pushed downstream in America.
Integrity is very much related to self-control, the most effective character trait we have for easily managing social and professional circumstances. Integral people have strict management of their moods; they wisely behave through any human interaction unscathed. When the dust settles, the integral man or woman has zero regrets, zero resentments.
